SUMMARY:

Primary focus is on supporting Edge Andersen Equipment Solutions internal machine build group. This position will be responsible for assembly, start up, install and training on new production equipment designed by the EDGE team.  This will be a 1st shift position.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assembly automation equipment from start to completion.
  • Pneumatic plumbing of equipment
  • Debug and Trouble shooting of equipment builds
  • Prioritize work to meet customer deadlines
  • Participate in design reviews with Machine Designers and peers in the shop
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Understand safety rules and procedures to safely perform all tasks
  • Know and practice respectful workplace behavior
  • Support a culture of best practice on 5S and overall shop safety

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 - year technical degree in a maintenance discipline.
  • Autodesk Inventor experience.
  • Proficient at print reading and tolerance interpretation.
  • Rigging experience
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills in required applications,  Outlook, Word, Microsoft Teams, Etc.

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Machine design experience
  • Machining experience
  • Electrical experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY:

  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours
  • Must be able to occasionally lift 50 lbs.
  • Some heavy lifting required at low frequency. Equipment is provided to move/manipulate heavy components
  • Requires repetitive action such as simple starting, grasping, firm grasping and fine manipulating.
  • Handling hazardous waste wearing the appropriate PPE
  • Working near/on hot equipment/materials
  • Willingness to travel to support installs / start ups.


COMPENSATION: 

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.

Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $35.85- $44.82.

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
