Primary responsibilities in manufacturing are to drive department and enterprise key initiatives through continuous process improvement, improving customer satisfaction, reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and eliminating variation in manufacturing processes. Candidates for this position should have energy and passion to improve both our production and functional processes while leading with integrity.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide engineering support for daily operations in the 400S PSCA (Perma-Shield Casement and Awning) supermarket and warehousing area, focusing on efficiency and layout optimization.
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, RD&I, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions to drive improvements.
- Design and implement part storage solutions to reduce floor space, improve accessibility and safety.
- Develop and maintain documentation for processes, standards, and improvements.
- Lead continuous improvement projects aligned to lean manufacturing principles.
- Analyze and improve material flow and inventory systems within the manufacturing area
- Utilize sound project management tools for complex projects and key initiatives
- Utilize engineering tools like AutoCAD and Visio for analysis and design.
- Promote a hands-on, high involvement approach to problem solving

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4-year degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
- 1-4 years of relevant experience
- Strong project management skills
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
- Strong, proactive communicator, effective both 1:1 and in groups
COMPENSATION:
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.
Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $77,000 - $119,000 annually.
