SUMMARY:

Andersen Corporation is seeking a Supply Chain Process Designer III/Lead at our Bayport facility.  This position is responsible for planning, leading, and directing the material and information flow processes within projects. Key focus is providing consultation on the complete end-to-end supply chain system and leading large or complex projects. This candidate will travel approximately 25%. There is no sponsorship available for this position. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partner with business leaders and management to assess the cost and impact of recommended business solutions.
Direct material, inventory, and information flow processes for the plan, make, source, and deliver strategies defined by business needs.
Manage the overall supply chain process through stage gates.
Design and procure material storage systems, material handling equipment, and computer hardware on large or complex projects.
Influence, design, and implement an information flow system containing supply chain and IT deliverables that meet customer requirements at the lowest total cost.
Maintain a strong network of effective business and industry partners.
Communicate with business partners to resolve issues and negotiate project priorities, resources and completion deadlines through independent presentations to upper management.
Drive innovation and change within business processes. Capable of setting vision and supply chain strategy.
Serves as key mentor to other supply chain team members within a project.
Provides direction to IT, scheduling, procurement, sourcing, vendors, etc.
Participates in activities such as interviewing job applicants, providing input to performance evaluations, etc.
May or may not have direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

4 year degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related degree or equivalent work experience.  8+ years of experience preferred.
Extensive experience in complex projects/assignments impacting corporate-wide interests and long term business goals.
Mastery level of expertise of material and information flow systems and processes such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and lean methodology.
Master knowledge of lean manufacturing processes such as pull systems, Kanban systems, PDCA thinking, and value stream mapping. Demonstrates strong project management and leadership skills.
Recognized as company-wide expert in one or more areas of technical work.
Advanced communication skills through written, verbal, listening, and presentation techniques.
Experience with leading change management strategies.
Ability to travel if required up to 25%

COMPENSATION:

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $99,216 -$153,784 annually.

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
