SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Analyst uses tools from DMAIC, PDCA, lean, and six sigma methodologies to identify problems and analyze possible solutions. Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline. Candidate must be local to the IA area a there is no relocation for this person.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Participate in supply chain projects within the value stream with consideration to the entire supply chain (plan, source, make, deliver)
- Provides a high degree of planning analysis to support decision making.
- Optimize supply planning parameters that align with business requirements for service and inventory, including coordination of services and material to match production demands.
- Identifies supply chain problem areas and drives improvement in service, reduce cost, and increase inventory turns, Utilizing Supply Chain and lean tools such as Kanban, 5Y, Plan-Do-Check Act, value stream mapping and A3 thinking.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners including suppliers, supervisors and team leads, logistics/warehouse groups and material planners.
- Facilitate functional teams and meetings. Provide daily work direction to others in value stream (planners and other project participants). Works independently with general supervision

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Information Systems is preferred.
- 3-5 years of Supply Chain experience.
- Working knowledge of relevant supply chain technologies such as ERP, Manufacturing Executions Systems, Warehouse Management systems.
- Experience across multiple systems, including ERP, BCPS, Power BI, BOBJ, Visual Basics for Applicaitons, and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge and experience with ERP systems, data mining and data reporting
- Engages with other in a way that can be developed into an ongoing working relationship.
- Seeks to understand customer needs in detail and how to satisfy them.
- Willingly accepts assignments that will expand his/her capabilities
- Strong understanding of inventory, production planning, capacity, etc. is required.
- Seeks opportunities to learn from others who have more experience and tenure in the organization

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in utilizing lean tools and methodology for problem solving and continuous improvement, including Pull, 5Y, PDCA, A3 thinking, waste elimination.
- Experience in production planning and operations environment.
- Experience with demand forecasting

Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidate in this role are expected to earn $69,529-$107,771.

In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
