POSITION PURPOSE:

The Merchandise Lead is responsible for defining and managing showroom strategies for Andersen’s channel partners, ensuring the effective scaling of the showroom dealer network while conveying the brand's unique value proposition. Additionally, this role oversees the company-branded merchandise program and employee shopping experience, ensuring a high-value customer and employee experience across all Andersen locations.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Andersen showroom program 
  • Develop and manage Andersen’s showroom strategies for dealer channel partners and corporate showrooms to support efficient program scaling, convey the brand's unique value proposition, and effectively engage customers. Lead the strategy, development, and integration of immersive digital experiences into the physical showroom environment to enhance customer engagement and storytelling.
  • Showroom order, fulfillment and inventory systems - Implement a dealer showroom selection, order and fulfillment system to streamline the process and provide the data needed to improve material forecasting. Establish a showroom inventory management system for tracking and optimization.
  • Product samples and displays - Manage samples and display programs, including SKU development and inventory management, and ordering processes to support product launch, line-extensions or enhancements and general sales and channel needs.
Showroom training and consultation 
  • Provide training and materials to internal partners on showroom value, program overview, and ordering processes. Serve as the showroom subject matter expert, providing consultation to high-priority accounts to support showroom program adoption and alignment.

Brand Merchandise Program Management:

  • Manage the company-branded merchandise program and employee shopping experience.
  • Serve as the buyer and brand steward for corporate merchandise by identifying trends, collaborating with partners on product selection, obtaining employee feedback, and managing inventory, ordering, placement, budget, and performance metrics. Develop and oversee on-site staffing for strategic corporate locations.
  • Continuous improvement:
  • Continuously improve the brand store experiences across company locations through various strategies (e.g., online ordering, kiosks, new stores where relevant, etc.). Collaborate with the channel marketing team to gather customer insights for continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on showroom design trends and competitive insights.

DIRECTION OF OTHERS:
  • Currently no direct reports. Could change over-time.
  • Provides direction to key internal and external partners.
  • Manage relationship and provide strategic direction to showroom vendors and suppliers.
  • Provide direction and training to staff managing company stores.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION, SKILL AND/OR COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business with a marketing or merchandising emphasis or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of merchandising experience, preferably with a dynamic, service-oriented retailer.
  • Proven ability to work semi-autonomously and influence tactics with independently owned channel partners.
  • Strong understanding of merchandising principles and effective measurement tools.
  • Detail-oriented with strong ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Availability to travel up to 25% nationwide.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and writing skills.

COMPENSATION:
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $88,235-$136,765.00.

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
