POSITION SUMMARY:

Focus is on coordinating and leading all or most activities on comprehensive and technically challenging projects/assignments. Demonstrates originality in technical work. Demonstrates leadership skills and capabilities.

POSITION PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take lead role in developing project or event plans involving internal and external resources. Process requisitions for external labor through EAM.
  • Capable of leading a cross-functional team having broader scope and less defined initial objective.
  • Manage and direct projects or events involving multiple, concurrent and sequential development activities.
  • Assign and direct project or event personnel to best utilize and develop their skills.
  • Analyze and recommend equipment, technical, or process design improvements based on root cause analysis and other appropriate techniques to improve equipment reliability and resource efficiency.
  • Evaluate impact of proposed equipment or process changes on manufacturing processes or equipment.
  • Able to implement continuous improvement opportunities based on data regarding equipment reliability, work performance, schedule compliance, material usage, and other metrics pertinent to areas of responsibility.
  • Approve documentation completed by others.
  • Able to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for equipment and maintenance related documentation.
  • Able to coordinate and schedule cross-functional work.
  • Work with suppliers, specifying and monitoring progress on complex issues.
  • Assumes responsibility for external service providers while on Company property.
  • Responsible for complete vendor management.
  • Develop and present complex presentations using data to support corporate strategies and business plans.
  • Develop and present reports summarizing technical analysis and business case to peer group and management audiences.
  • Assigns events to appropriate team member, including peers.
  • Able to determine and coordinate appropriate cross-functional resources for projects and events.
  • Responsible for direction in absence of management.
  • Act as "in-charge" lead on cross-functional group assignments.
  • Provide technical backup in the absence of supervisor/manager of functional areas
  • Participate in evaluation of team members' technical skills.
  • Evaluate and develop training on a full range of technical issues.
  • Participate in activities such as interviewing job applicants, providing input to performance evaluations, etc.
  • Under direction of leadership, defines and develops best practices for the AAMP model.
  • Works independently on most aspects of work.
  • Receives general direction with occasional work review. Review of work occurs after the fact.
  • Has considerable latitude in deciding how to accomplish assignments.
  • Review and approval of cross-functional work for areas of assigned responsibility.
  • Able to correctly prioritize work in assigned areas to align with Corporate objectives and strategies.
  • Independent presentations to Plant management.
  • Approves tasks of peers on projects or event teams.
  • Effective communications with all levels of internal and external peers, customers, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Coordinate project efforts concerning specific events, assemblies, or equipment across several cross-functional areas.
  • Independent communication with business partners to resolve technical issues and negotiate items such as priorities and completion deadlines.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Demonstrated skills with a 4 year degree and minimum of 4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Effectively applies acquired technical knowledge, skills and abilities to a variety of assignments.
  • Possesses unique or specific knowledge that is frequently sought out by others.
  • Strong understanding of the interrelationship that needs to exist between functional areas the business.
  • Well-developed project management skills.


COMPENSATION: 

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. 

Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $77,000 - $119,000

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
