Strategic Pricing Leader will drive pricing excellence across multiple business units and participate as a key member of the business leadership team. The Strategic Pricing & Portfolio Leader’s purpose is to drive the development and execution of a unified pricing strategy that maximizes customer value, enhances profitability, and supports long-term growth across the Andersen Division. This role ensures pricing is treated as a strategic lever—grounded in data, aligned with market dynamics, and embedded in how we go to market. By leading a cross-functional team, this leader translates insights into action, enabling disciplined, competitive, and value-based decision-making across the portfolio.
POSITION PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pricing Strategy & Execution & Governance – 40%
• Develop and lead the end-to-end pricing strategy for the Andersen product and feature portfolio across channels and including aftermarket.
• Align pricing initiatives with business objectives, customer value, and market realities across new product introduction and lifecycle phases.
• Define pricing realization goals and drive performance to targets across key metrics (e.g., price yield, margin lift, elasticity).
• Lead pricing governance processes, including KPI reporting, pricing reviews, and participation in pricing committees with executive leadership
• Establish pricing controls and compliance frameworks to ensure discipline, consistency, and audit-readiness.
Team Leadership & Talent Development – 25%
• Lead and grow a cross-functional pricing organization, including:
• Competitive Insights
• Manager of Pricing Execution
• Commercial Program Development
• Pricing Analysts
• Build a high-performing, collaborative, and learning-focused team culture.
Analytics, Tools & Technology – 10%
• Oversee the development of pricing analytics, elasticity modeling, and scenario-based planning to inform decision-making.
• Own the pricing systems roadmap ensuring effective utilization, continuous improvement, and integration into business workflows.
• Translate analytical insights into pricing playbooks, policies, and tactical guardrails for commercial execution.
Commercial Programs & Deal Support – 15%
• Lead design and deployment of commercial programs that support customer segmentation, value capture, and strategic growth.
• Partner with sales, product, and finance on key deals, bids, and negotiations—providing pricing guidance, margin modeling, and strategic pricing support.
• Champion pricing knowledge across the commercial organization through targeted training, job aids, and enablement resources.
• Foster pricing fluency and program ideation through cross-functional collaboration.
Competitive Benchmarking & Market Intelligence – 10%
• Drive a continuous cadence of competitive benchmarking and pricing research; including tools and systems that enhance our capabilities today.
• Incorporate market dynamics, customer expectations, and peer pricing behaviors into strategy refreshes and pricing calibration.
Direction of others
Competitive insights & analysis, pricing data analytics team, commercial program development/managment and pricing project/systems owner
POSITION MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree (economics, finance or a related field).
• 10+ years of experience in pricing, strategy, or financial/commercial leadership roles.
• Proven success leading pricing strategy and execution in a complex, matrixed business environment.
• Expertise in pricing tools, analytics platforms, and economic modeling.
• Experience leading pricing transformations.
• Experience managing and developing cross-functional pricing and insights teams.
• Strong financial and strategic acumen—able to connect pricing actions to business outcomes.
• A grounded, collaborative leadership style—able to build trust, foster alignment, and communicate with clarity.
COMPENSATION:
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.
Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $144,080 – $230,520/year.
