SUMMARY 

This role will be responsible for the installation and qualification of a product testing system (test wall) at the Locust Grove, Georgia plant, which is currently in design / development; and organizing, directing, and conducting qualifying and ongoing product performance testing; and ensuring product conformance to specification and performance standards. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

·          Maintain responsibility for the daily execution of product auditing and performance testing, collecting/recording data and providing accurate test reports and related documentation in a fast-paced, agile environment.

·          Develop and maintain monthly test plans and product performance reporting.

·          Partner with product development and manufacturing teams to support product and process design, development, and launch.

·          Clearly and effectively communicate, both verbally and in written form, and escalate identified risks, to cross functional groups and leaders, as appropriate.

·          Ensure the desired work quality levels are achieved through the creation and use of quality control and standard work documentation, training to those standards, and use of tools/data.

·          Continuously improve department processes and present recommendations for improvements to technical issues in a clear, concise, and logical manner. 

·          Conduct general maintenance of the product testing system and associated accessories including unit fixturing, spray racks, and impact equipment.

·      QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

·          High School Diploma or GED required.

·          3-5 years’ experience verifying product conformance to specifications in either a quality or production role.

·          Must be willing and able to flex working hours to span multiple shifts and weekends, providing onsite support, leadership and decision making.

·          Must be highly organized with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.

·          Strong knowledge of adjacent functional areas that interact with quality such as scheduling, supply chain, manufacturing operations, and engineering support.

·          Knowledge and experience with quality systems, documentation, statistical process control, process capability, and lean manufacturing tools.

·          Desire to continue to grow and develop personally.

·          Willingness to travel domestically (up to 25%) for onboarding and continual collaboration and knowledge sharing with cross-functional teams.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Able to complete physical aspects of the job which include heavy lifting, climbing ladders, bending, pushing, pulling, etc.


In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
