Summary:
Plans, leads and directs medium to large and/or complex scope supply chain projects. (Multiple major business processes or complex major business process). Uses formal project management methods to initiate, execute, and control project. Full stage gate methodology typically employed. Provides consultation to company or business partners on resolution of critical business problems, defining, businesses processes and researching/identifying customer requirements, best practices and enabling technology. Formulates approaches that achieve desired business results. Directs and participates in the development of the business case. Significant change management experience required.
Responsibilities:
-Lead the development and implementation of short and mid term supply chain plans for key projects. This includes plans for supply and demand to insure the proper balance between cost and customer service.
-Partner with Business leaders, senior management and others to assess the cost and impact of recommended changes, help clarify priorities and coordinate cross-organizational consortia where common needs or issues have been identified
-Design/Implement/Influence a supply chain to support customer requirements at lowest total cost with minor involvement across business units
-Manage salable inventory positions (aggregate levels, footprints, reorder, sku rationalization points and mix) across business units.
-Develop and implement future state planning business processes for new products
-Manage and influence a Demand/Capacity Planning Model with Functions and Business Units
-Manage a Labor Planning Model with Human Resources and the Business Units
-Manage/Develop inventory strategy & accuracy for the supply chain
-Plan and support implementation for new product introductions including overall Supply Chain process support and managing demand during transition states
-Develop key operations measures including productivity, inventory and people management
-Manage the overall Supply Chain processes through stage gates.
-Establish and direct Supply Chain data and information flow for IT systems
-Lead and manage activities of new product development personnel to ensure the project progresses on schedule, within budget achieving desired business results.
-Provide coaching and guidance to project resources in the performance of duties and functions for their respective responsibilities.
-Understand, document and communicate corporate supply chain position relative to internal supply chain.
-Provide leadership and influence the supply planning resources
-Perform other duties as assigned
This position reports directly to the Director, VP, Project Executive or Lead
Qualifications:
-BS or BA and 7-10 years supply chain experience or equivalent ·
-Understanding of current processes and technologies
-Business insight and knowledge
-Project management

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $108,741-$168,859.
