SUMMARY:
Our supply chain operations team is responsible for the day-to-day planning, scheduling, direct material purchasing, inventory management and inventory accuracy for the expanding Cottage Grove, MN manufacturing operation. We are seeking a supply chain analyst to help improve our business process, increase our capacity, and expand our product portfolio.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in supply chain projects within the value stream with consideration to the entire supply chain(plan, source, make, deliver)
- Provides a high degree of planning analysis to support decision making optimize supply planning parameters that align with business requirements for service and inventory, including coordination of services and material to match production demands
- Identifies supply chain problem areas and drives improvement in service, reduce cost, and increase inventory turns, Utilizing Supply Chain and lean tools such as Kanban, 5Y, Plan-Do-Check-Act, value stream mapping and A3 thinking
- Collaborate with internal and external partners including suppliers, supervisors and team leads, logistics/warehouse groups and material planners
- Facilitates functional teams and meeting.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent experience. Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Information Systems is preferred
- 3-5 years combined experience in Supply Chain Operations, Sourcing, Operations, or Logistics required.
- Master knowledge of relevant supply chain technologies such as ERP, Manufacturing Executions Systems, Warehouse Management systems
- Demonstrates competency to coach others in ERP systems, data mining and data reporting
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships with internal and/or external customers
- Able to identify unexpressed customer needs and potential services/tools to meet those needs
- Is self-sufficient and motivated to take action and grow and develop.
- Provides peer-to-peer coaching and developmental feedback to others.
- Strong influencing skills are required.

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent experience.
- 6-8 years combined experience in Supply Chain Operations, Sourcing, Operations, or Logistics required.
NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Information Systems is preferred.
- Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn between $77K-119K.
