This applies to our team, too.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set-up, start and shut down waste treatment center equipment (wash, burners, waste treatment station and distiller.
- Monitor all waste water station meters; maintain accurate and timely records of meter readings and other pertinent information.
- Perform chemical titrations.
- Clean the wash, waste water system, de-ionizing system and the compressor.
c- Transport and store chemicals.
- Troubleshoot and repair paint line maintenance problems.
- React to crashes in the wash and ovens.
- Enter confined spaces.
- Maintain and replenish lacquer thinner distiller.
- Breakdown and rebuild racks for cleaning.
- Assure quality standards understood and they are met
- Ability to constructively work with others
- Perform Safety audits
- Follow standard work, control plans, and written work instructions
- Participate in continuous improvement process and other lean initiatives
- Coach and train new associates
- Assure conformance with the 5S program.
- Assure compliance with all safety related safety policies and procedures.
- Understand and participate in achieving departmental and company goals
- Serve as a member of the Paint Line team by providing assistance as required.
- Assist with hazardous waste management
QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Graduate/GED/HSED
- Basic reading and math skills
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Demonstrated understanding of Haz-Mat regulations
- Basic understanding of waste-water treatment chemicals
- Demonstrated machine maintenance skills
- Meet Confined Space Training
- Oral communication skills
- Basic team skills
- Basic organizational skills
- Physical ability to perform job duties
- Demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision
- Understanding of related safety policies and procedures
WORK PACE: - Work Pace Type: Task Defined
- The work pace will be determined differently depending on material being built.
- Overtime: Occasionally workers will be required to work overtime
COMPENSATION
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $24.30/hr - $27.45/hr.
