SUMMARY


The Field Operations Technician is primarily responsible for performing end-user support duties that span a range of activities within the operations as well as provide work direction to the overall Field Operations Team. Duties would include installing or maintaining personal computer hardware and software utilizing hands on and remote resolution capabilities. The Technician also troubleshoots a multitude of issues which range from desktops, laptops, network, telecom, video conferencing, VolP, mobility and or infrastructure problems in an office and manufacturing environment


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


• Installs and configures personal computer systems

• Manages IT Incident queue and can work level I / II / III technician problems as needed

• Identify, evaluate, and validate new hardware and software opportunities for company benefit, with an eye on cost savings

• Knowledge of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and its components; Install, configure, monitor, support, optimize, and administer

• Maintain and support Windows Active Directory domain, ensuring security and availability of user logins, ACL permissions, Group Policies, and network printing, according to corporate policies and requirements

• Create and maintain documentation for the company Knowledge Base, as it relates to both end-users and IT staff, using appropriate and effective communication techniques for both

• Performs on-site or remote desktop support of end-users

• Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS


• Strong root cause and trending identification skillset to implement solutions mitigating issues within the environment

• Operational knowledge of Active Directory and Organizational Units

• Understanding of networking principles

• Must be able to communicate and work effectively with others in and outside of the IT department

• Minimum of four years relevant experience, supporting information systems operations.

• 4+ Years’ experience in IT Relationship Customer Support

• 4+ Years desktop/laptop/mobility hardware maintenance, repair and troubleshooting

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
