The primary responsibility of the Manufacturing, Integration, and Transformation (MIT) team is designing and implementing manufacturing processes and equipment across the Andersen Enterprise on medium to large scale projects. Candidates for this position should possess a strong technical background with the desire to be a change agent and have the energy and passion to improve both our production and functional processes while leading with integrity. This is a hybrid role with travel requirements up to 25%.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and/or support project teams on the successful commercialization and start-up of new fabrication equipment and processes.
- Partner with operations, RD&I, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions to deliver manufacturing solutions.
- Interface with design, product engineering, supply chain, and other business partners on the design for manufacturability and process capability of new products or product extensions.
- Provide recommendations regarding the viability of developed design solutions that relate to new or current processes.
- Facilitate cross-functional team meetings, kaizens, and Process System Design events.
- Ensure built in quality by using DMAIC tools: Process mapping, process capability, C&E Matrix, fishbone diagram, FMEA, MSA, DOE, Control Plans.
- Develop specifications to procure production equipment and/or complete production lines.
- Partner with the Safety group to ensure all new or modified processes meet or exceed corporate safety requirements.
- Create training tools, documents and standard operating procedures for production processes ensuring consistent manufacturability.
- Introduce new perspectives on existing solutions to continuously improve production and material flow processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 year degree in Engineering or Technology
- 7-10+ years of engineering experience preferred with mechanical aptitude
- Equipment procurement experience
- Strong project management skills
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, SPC and process capability
- Positive attitude with a desire to build relationships and serve both our internal and external customers
- Strong, proactive communicator, effective both 1:1 and in groups
- Knowledge of 2D & 3D solid modeling preferred (AutoCad/Inventor)
- Ability to travel up to 25%
COMPENSATION
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn between $99,216 - $153,784 annually.
