POSITION PURPOSE
The Manager, RTW/ADA Programs is responsible for leading enterprise-wide level return-to-work (RTW) programs as well as requests for accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This role will be responsible for the development of policies, procedures, administration and reporting of RTW and ADA across the organization. This includes ensuring compliance, improving processes, resolving issues, analyzing data and trends, and managing services provided by external vendors. The position acts as the subject matter expert for RTW/ADA and ensures all programs comply with relevant regulations. This position leads and develops a team of RTW/ADA specialists in order to deliver a consistent and supportive employee experience.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with leadership and HR business partners to develop, implement, administer, and maintain quality return-to-work and accommodation policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local leave regulations.
  • Manage the ADA/RTW team and processes and procedures.
  • Conduct individualized assessments for employees returning to work from a medical leave of absence or employees requesting disability or medical accommodations through an interactive process, reviewing job functions, consulting with employees, and evaluating accommodation options for reasonableness.
  • Assess and analyze data to identify trends and measure program outcomes; communicate findings to relevant parties.
  • Serve as an escalation point for RTW/ADA related issues, raising unresolved or escalated issues to HR leadership as applicable.
  • Develop and facilitate communications and training relevant to federal, state, local, and company RTW/ADA programs for all levels of the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION, SKILL, AND/OR COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
  • 7 years of experience in disability management, return-to-work administration, accommodations, and the interactive process with at least 3 years of experience supporting an exempt and non-exempt population of 10,000+ employees.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local disability laws and regulations, including the Americans with Disabilities Act, including familiarity with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations and disability laws applicable to the position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service mindset. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholder managers at various levels.
  • Ability to build effective business relationships, as well as interact with all levels of employees within the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to navigate complex cases and provide thoughtful, compliant solutions.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple leave cases and details.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms such as Workday, UKG, or similar systems.
  • Experience working with third-party administrators (TPAs) for leave and disability programs.
COMPENSATION:
Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.
Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $99,216 - $153,784 annually.

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
