This position is responsible for the leadership of the Renewal by Andersen (RbA) Advanced Manufacturing Systems & Processes (AMSP) supply chain project team. The key focus is to enable and support employees to deliver strong project results, on-time and within budget, to meet the strategic initiatives of RbA during unprecedented growth. This leader will provide guidance and training of standard Andersen tools, as well as prioritize employee development and engagement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead supply chain team focused on the effective execution of multiple capacity expansions, new product offerings, and new product line extension through the Andersen Stage/Gate process.
- Collaborate and strategize with multiple functional areas such as Operations, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and Sourcing.
- Identify, prioritize, and deploy resources to meet a wide variety of large strategic initiatives.
- Mentor employees on the effective use of the Andersen Manufacturing System Development Process & Continuous Improvement Toolkit.
- Coach employees and provide support to remove obstacles in order to ensure team is aligned to meet or exceed expected project outcomes
- Develop all employees to reach their potential while providing frequent performance feedback.
- Create an energy around process improvement and innovation, while continuing to standardize tools and templates useful for the efficiency of direct reports.
- Utilize and expand upon the synergy within the RbA AMSP team to support a variety of high performing project teams.
- Reinforce a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
- Live the Andersen values by building and inspiring trust through transparency and collaboration.
Direction of Others:
- Leads a department of 4-6 supply chain process designers.
Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in project leadership, supply chain, IT, operations or manufacturing/industrial engineering preferred.
- Must have 3-5 years of experience leading teams
- Knowledge and experience in material and information flow systems and processes such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and lean methodology.
- Proven experience in collaborating with and influencing cross-functional partners.
- Demonstrated employment of change management strategies.
- Passion for coaching and mentoring of others.
