SUMMARY

Supply Chain Planners responsibilities include executing fundamental theories, principles, and concepts of supply chain, continuous improvement, and procurement. Performs routine assignments, yet understands how the role fits into the larger business process and can be effective in business processes outside the role's core tasks.  Role is transactional/tactical, with remainder of time focused on continuous improvement.  Continuous improvement expectations are troubleshooting within the tasks being performed, identification of opportunities to make tasks more effective/efficient, and leading/driving small-scale change to improve the standard process.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for inventory control and accuracy for a set of parts through cycle counts, accuracy discrepancy investigations, and communication  impact to RbA cross functional teams.
- Coordination and execution of the procurement of material from various suppliers and ensuring clear communication of our requirements and forecasts.
- Coordination of material from with various parts of the business from the receiving department to transportation and production lines.
- Root cause analysis on inventory gaps and communicating across the affected value streams.
- Maintain relationships with internal and external business partners including suppliers, supervisors and team leads to support customer orders.
- Drive continuous improvement within daily tasks that are being performed to make tasks more effective and efficient. 
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 
- Bachelor's degree in business management, supply chain or similar field with 3+ years of manufacturing experience in a lean environment. 
- Advanced computer skills with experience with ERP systems, MS Office and reporting systems (Microsoft BI)
-Strong communication skills through written, verbal and presenting to be able to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
-Demonstrated urgency and responsibility for solving and addressing any roadblocks to hitting goals.
- Strong aptitude in proactive problem identification and process improvement.
 
 
SALARY INFORMATION:

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
