Position Purpose:

Drives the development, execution, communication of roadmaps/solutions/projects to support the Supply Chain Technology and Innovation strategy to increase efficiencies and enable end to end visibility across the Supply Chain. 

Works with leaders to strategically determine initiative priority, scope, and sequencing to develop and maintain a roadmap for their specific effort.

Acts as subject matter expert to train/coach others in the skill within the business.

Position Responsibilities:

Project management - Engage with leadership/stakeholders to understand business problems where IT/OT solutions tools can have the biggest impact, then lead, develop, and execute your planned solutions with the support of your manager, stakeholders, and teammates.

Supply Chain Architect - Manage a 3-5 year roadmap for the specific area of focus. 

Have a good understanding of IT systems (ERP/Manufacturing execution systems/Warehouse Management systems/Transportation Management Systems), Manufacturing and supply chain processes, and over-all end to end processing.

Develop and drive the use of common tools and processes consistent with future needs.

Drive total cost improvements to the entire supply chain, going beyond the 4 walls to engage with suppliers, customers, and other partners.

Coach and mentor supply chain analysts and architects to share and utilize best practices across the enterprise.

Performs as a subject matter expert for the business process supported.

Business Analystlay-out the work (requirements gathering) for the IT agile dev team to develop the proposed IT solutions.

Direction of others:

Leader of strategic and/or enterprise-wide supply chain projects or process improvement activities.

Facilitates cross- functional projects/continuous improvement events including kaizens, value stream mapping, process mapping.

Bachelor’s degree or higher, equivalent experience.  Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Information Systems is preferred

A minimum of 8 years combined experience in multiple areas of Supply Chain, Engineering, or Information Systems.

Master knowledge of relevant supply chain technologies such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Warehouse Management Systems.


Demonstrates competency to coach others in ERP systems, data mining, and data reporting.

Is proficient at database concepts, has SQL querying/analytical skills, and has a problem solver and innovative mindset.

Advocates and coaches others on lean tools including Pull, 5Y, PDCA, kaizen facilitation, A3 thinking, waste elimination.

Builds strong working relationships with internal and/or external customers.

Takes the initiative to solve customer problems and delivers what the customer is promised.

Continuously seeks new knowledge, skills, and best practices.
