SUMMARY:
Andersen Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Sourcing Analyst to oversee supplier readiness growth within our newest manufacturing facility located in Locust Grove, Georgia. This position will be the sourcing project lead collaborating with other functional areas including: supplier relationship, operations, supply chain, category leads/suppliers, and finance to strategically onboard supply partners
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Manage performance of and drive continuous improvement of suppliers to support site readiness
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of projects and sourcing initiatives
-Develop and execute supplier onboarding and readiness through manufacturing start up.
-Partner with design engineering to aid with upfront design simplification, and support new technology and design needs, as well as lead technical reviews with suppliers.
-Establish, gain approval, and own material cost targets for all supported projects.
-Develop supplier base and handle supplier escalations to support manufacturing
-Work closely with sourcing category teams on bid list creation, supplier selection, and supplier readiness for production.
-Become the subject matter expert of the Product Development Process, related to Sourcing.
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor’s degree in supply chain/Operations, Business, Engineering, or related degree is required
-4+ years of relevant experience in sourcing, product development, supply chain, or operations
-Project management experience with the ability to create project plans, manage schedules, adapt resources, and achieve project deliverables.
-Organized and able to independently pursue concurrent resolution of multiple issues.
NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
-Demonstrated success collaboratively leading and motivating others.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills with employees at all levels of the organization.
-Solid understanding of continuous improvement methodologies
-Technical knowledge and/or previous fenestration product experience is a plus.
SALARY INFORMATION:
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. In addition to your pay, Andersen Corporation currently offers benefits such as comprehensive health benefits, 401k contribution, paid time off, 8 paid standard holidays, plus 2 floating holidays, a robust employee Wellbeing program, as well as profit sharing (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
