SUMMARY

The Sr. Director of AI, Data and Analytics will partner to lead the development and execution of the company's AI, data, and analytics strategy. This role is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of data-driven solutions that drive business growth and operational efficiency. The Sr. Director will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of data initiatives with business objectives and will play a key role in fostering a data-centric culture within the organization.

This position will oversee Data Operations, Data Engineering, Solution Architecture, Integrations and AI practices. Leading a large, distributed team of 50+ individuals, this leader will manage and advance enterprise technology and data solutions across a vast operating footprint of over 100 facilities, including retail locations, plants, warehouses, and distribution centers. This leader will support all enterprise data platforms and integrations. With an audacious, yet realistic goal of becoming a $10 billion enterprise within the next decade, Andersen will look to this leader to drive significant innovation and maturation of the data, analytics, integrations and AI spaces.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive AI, data, and analytics strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and objectives.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop teams of data professionals, data engineers, and architects, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • AI COE: Oversee the development and deployment of AI strategy and governance solve complex business problems and enhance decision-making processes.
  • Data Infrastructure: Design and manage scalable data infrastructure and architecture to support data collection, storage, processing, and analysis.
  • Collaboration: Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for leveraging data and analytics to drive business value and improve customer experiences.
  • Performance Measurement: Develop and implement metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness and impact of data initiatives. From Fin Ops to base SLA.
  • Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in AI, data, and analytics, and drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in data and analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data management, data warehousing, data visualization tools, and data modeling logic / techniques. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions
  • AI Expertise: Strong understanding of AI techniques and their applications in a business context. Ranging from Machine learning to Agentic and Generative.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and the ability to think critically about business challenges.
  • Leadership: Provides leadership development including capability building and development strategies, assessment and feedback
  • Culture: Demonstrates cultural competencies and behaviors in all interactions

COMPENSATION 

Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $162,230 to $259,570 + variable incentives.

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
