The Senior Business Manger role leads the business from a broad general manager point of view and owns business results. The Manager is responsible for translating RbA’s business strategy into a product strategy by having intimate knowledge of the customer. Development of strategic and annual operating plans for their business to deliver Division and Enterprise results. Working closely with delivery partners (sales, marketing, RD&I, operations, finance, and IT) throughout the Division and Enterprise to deliver those plans. The Manager leads the business day-to-day by producing sound plans, spotting problems and opportunities early, and responding urgently to them.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop a detailed understanding of customer needs, purchase trigger, behaviors and influences when considering replacement products.

Develop and own product roadmap.

Collaborate with delivery partners to deliver roadmap initiatives.

Manage product profitability and commercial success, own the business case.

Collaborate with sales and marketing to deliver relevant product marketing assets.

Monitor competitive product and positioning to maintain competitive advantage.

Recruit, onboard and lead a high performing team.

Lead a team of product managers and provide strategic direction to others to deliver business results. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Four-year degree or equivalent of experience and education. 

Minimum of six years of experience in marketing, sales, or product management roles.

Proven customer facing experience.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills. 

Proven experience with identifying and creating opportunities then implementing a plan to create business result.

Strong working knowledge of business measures, revenue, cost and margins. 

Strong Leadership skills. 

Analytical skills. 

Negotiation skills.
