We are seeking a highly analytical and driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our Andersen Professional Building Services team. This role is critical in supporting our Phoenix, AZ operations, while also collaborating closely on strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5+ years of financial analysis experience in retail, manufacturing, or direct-to-consumer industries and have a proven ability to deliver insights that impact strategic decisions and business growth.
This role follows a hybrid work model with onsite requirements in Oak Park Heights, MN.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to drive effective decision-making processes.
- Operational & Performance Analysis: Evaluate financial and operational performance, analyzing trends and providing actionable insights to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage closely with sales, operations, corporate development, and supply chain teams to align financial objectives and support strategic business decisions.
- Strategic Support: Partner with corporate development teams to evaluate and model potential market expansion opportunities, ensuring informed strategic investment decisions.
- Continuous Improvement: Assess current financial processes and recommend improvements for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
You can expect to work a hybrid schedule meaning 3 days/week on site and 2 days remote.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or relevant certifications (CFA, CPA) are a plus.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in financial analysis within retail, manufacturing, or direct-to-consumer industries.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills; advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Analytical & Operational Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, with experience in analyzing manufacturing, retail, or direct-to-consumer business metrics such as cost structures, inventory management, pricing strategies, and customer acquisition costs.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to clearly present financial insights to both financial and non-financial audiences; proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration.
- Initiative & Adaptability: Self-starter who proactively identifies improvement opportunities and effectively manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong oral and written communication skills.
