This applies to our team, too.We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Administrative Specialist to support our Site Director and Center Manager with scheduling, meeting planning, travel arrangements, and day-to-day operations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on organization, enjoys helping others, and can communicate with warmth and professionalism. You’ll also assist with HR tasks like onboarding, payroll, and employee inquiries, while contributing to data reporting and fun engagement events. - Assists Site Director and center manager in organizing his/her schedule and provides filter (phone and in-person) or access to manager by others, both internal, as well as from outside.
- Assists Site Director and center manager and others within the center in arranging meetings, conference calls, and in making travel arrangements.
- Processes all routine personnel transactions such as first day orientations, establishment of and maintenance of personnel files, etc.
- Provides center level employees with human resource information (benefits, payroll matters, etc) through reliance on established policy, or by contact with ALI Human Resources Generalist. Responds to individual questions based on knowledge of plans and programs or directs employee to appropriate resource
- Processes payroll transactions and inputs to system on regular, timely, and accurate basis.
- Performs minor analysis by accessing various databases, classifying data, and producing limited interpretation via report generation for center manager or others as assigned.
- Communicates with customers, creditors, vendors, and members of the community in behalf of manager in a professional, warm, and business-like manner
- Responsible for a Senior Director and Center Manager calendars
- Assisting with employee engagement activities and event planning
- High school level general education with equivalent of two years of post-secondary knowledge of administrative and secretarial practice.
- Five years of experience working in a responsible secretarial/administrative environment, preferably as assistant to a department manager or local site manager.
- Display maturity and professionalism at a level enabling him/her to communicate effectively with people at all organizational levels, and to handle confidential matters.
- Demonstrated advanced ability to use personal computer and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of basic human resource practice and at least rudimentary knowledge of fair employment regulation and law.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.
Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $24.45 - $35.45 annually.
