POSITION SUMMARY:

To provide the protection of people and property at Andersen Corporation by monitoring truck traffic entering and exiting of the truck yard using multiple different technologies. Adheres to Company and Department policies and procedures when responding to and supporting various situations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitors truck traffic entering and exiting the truck yard by utilizing logistical technology to track inbound and outbound truck loads
  • Interacts with guests, vendors, contractors, and employees while providing a positive brand experience.
  • Documents and reports information to the appropriate internal and external partners in accordance with Company and Department policies and procedures.
  • Utilize security related technology to keep our teams, facilities, and assets safe and secure.
  • Access control systems and camera systems
  • Coordinates and maintains select aspects of the security program as directed by leadership.
  • Provides security support for issues that may pose an elevated risk. 
  • Site-specific support such as projects, events, or access operations requests and other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in the physical security industry and/or operations center environment. 
  • First aid and CPR  certified or able to achieve first aid and CPR certification upon being hired.
  • Knowledgeable about physical security technology, follow security processes and have knowledge of computers and computer systems.
  • Able to develop and maintain positive relationships with various levels of employees and leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of working with various technologies
  • Able to meet Fleet requirements required to drive a company vehicle.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and focused on providing strong customer service. 
  • Able to work independently with minimal direction.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY:

  • Ability to occasionally lift 100 pounds and carry 50 pounds or more. 
  • Able to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time daily. 
  • Able to climb ladders and perform duties at various heights. 
  • Able to work in all weather conditions.

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate.  Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
