Entry level technician job in testing, quality, engineering or other technical area. Work may be in a laboratory, test area, product documentation/information team, manufacturing area, or pilot plant.
- Collects/records data and provides accurate test reports and manufacturing documents.
- Ability to take direction from others on requirements to provide data back to aid in determining work methods.
- Participates in continuous improvement activities.
- Works with limited supervision.
- Performs technical support for assigned work area.
- Report recommendations for improvements to technical issues.
- Carry out test/work requests.
- Creates quality control and Standard work documentation.
- Performs safety assessment activities.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Evidence of responsibility for verifying product conformance to specifications either in a quality or production role
- Experienced in the area of document creation and control
- Preferred experience in an extrusion environment
- Must be able to work with and communicate both verbally and written to all levels of the company
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, and work in a fast pace flexible environment
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and present recommendations in a clear, concise, and logical manner
- Knowledge and experience with quality systems, statistical process control, process capability and lean manufacturing tools
