SUMMARY 

Develop and coordinate test strategy, plan for our approach, test estimation, test processes, test case development, test execution and defect reporting. Lead & Monitor team members, create test results, publish quality reports and make continuous improvements as necessary. Works closely with different stakeholders (IT, Business, Operations etc.) to understand what new features and functions will need to be tested for each release. Coordinates testing efforts with our vendor partners to ensure we are maximizing test coverage and deliver high quality products for our customers. 


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develops and executes test strategy and plan for each release to ensure we deliver a defect free application in our production environments
  • Coordinates with stake holders’ other groups on a timely fashion to ensure smooth execution of project
  • Develops and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, test design, test execution results & status.
  • Develops or modifies test strategy, plan, approach, process, and tools-based project requirement changes
  • Hands on Execution - Test Planning, Test Design, Test Execution, Defect Management
  • Reporting for both Manual and Automation activity
  • Meets and coordinates testing efforts with vendor partner leadership to coordinate testing efforts and test coverage
  • Trains, coaches and mentors QA staff on QA best practices, test case development and execution.
  • Implements and tracks quality audits to ensure adherence to testing and quality standards by the QA staff

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS 

  • College degree in computer science
  • 10+ years in the QA field with progressive responsibilities for complex, innovative and transformative solutions
  • Clear Understanding of STLC Process
  • Experience in handling distributed team and on Test Planning and Estimation process
  • Hands on experience of Manual Test Design, Execution and Reporting
  • Familiar with Quality Metrics
  • Experience on Integration and API testing
  • Experience on Agile -Scrum
  • Hand on experience on Database testing
  • Hands on Experience in one scripting language
  • Hands on experience on one coding language (Java, .net)
  • Hand on experience on Automation framework design, development and maintenance
  • Experience working on CI/ CD platform ( preferably Azure Dev-Ops)
  • Ability to guide team in fixing technical problems
  • Mobile Test automation 
  • Open for learning new technology
  • Working and managing independent contractor / vendor team
  • Working knowledge on Onsite-Offshore model

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate.  Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
