SUMMARY:
The operations/manufacturing engineering team is seeking an individual contributor to support manufacturing lines for our Andersen Aluminum (also known as Heritage) product line. We see significant growth on the horizon, and we’re looking for a candidate with a background in continuous improvement, machine troubleshooting, and capital equipment projects who will engineer our transition from effectively using our existing resources to bringing in additional capacity.
Andersen Aluminum is made in Goodyear, AZ in our 500,000 sq. ft. climate-controlled facility. It’s an amazing place with smart factory technology, warm, welcoming and fun work environment, privacy rooms for new mothers, prayer/meditation rooms along with an outstanding benefit and compensation plan. This Manufacturing Engineer will work on site with a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support fabrication and assembly operations focused on improving Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
- Work closely with production supervisors, team leads, and production employees to perform problem solving and root cause analysis
- Partner with operations, RD&I, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions to drive improvements
- Support and/or lead project teams on the successful commercialization and start-up of new fabrication and assembly equipment and processes
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline
- Desire to work in a manufacturing environment
NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of Lean and DMAIC analyses and problem-solving approaches

PROFIT SHARING:
In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
