SUMMARY

The Lending Platform Manager leads the development of the rFinance Platform through our tech provider and ensures stability, security, scalability, and optimal performance of the growing rFinance Platform which currently facilitates over $1 billion in unsecured consumer loans annually for the Renewal by Andersen business. This role supports internal stakeholders by maintaining platform functionality, managing development and vendor integrations, providing third-party oversight, communicating updates, and troubleshooting system issues. They collaborate closely with their manager, business leaders, tech provider, and external vendors to ensure the system meets operational, regulatory, and strategic objectives. This is a highly specialized role requiring platform expertise and technical acumen, while delivering exceptional service. The Lending Platform Manager will be responsible for on-call duties and incident response outside of regular business hours.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads the development of the rFinance Platform in close collaboration with their manager and tech provider. Initially, this includes the development of the originate to sell model (the next stage of the captive finance program), which includes the integration with a bank sponsor(s), loan servicer(s) and capital partner(s) who purchase the loans. This includes utilizing project management discipline to manage the tech provider's development of the platform and integration with these third parties through requirements gathering and definition, prioritization, removing barriers, and overall accountability to ensure successful and timely development. Through this work and on-going enhancements, the Manager is responsible for the day-to-day communication with the tech provider, third parties and rFinance management in the successful development and commercialization of platform functionality.
  • Monitors the platform's performance and manages the vendor relationships through effective third-party oversight (TPO). This includes clear communication, timely escalations and accountability to service level agreements through data and reporting. It also includes identifying, assessing and mitigating risks associated with outsourcing to vendors or service providers. In doing so, the Manager will develop platform performance and TPO scorecards for each vendor to effectively manage and communicate the performance of the platform and vendors to leadership.
  • Works closely with the Director of rFinance and the manager on strategic opportunities, such as in-sourcing loan servicing and loan securitization. This work could include project management, system/process due diligence, and other activities in pursuit of these opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Information Technology or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relatable experience in the banking/financial services industry
  • Platform/product owner, software development, and system integration experience preferred
  • Must have project management experience and experience in agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading functional and technical requirements gathering, process mapping, and delivering user-centered solutions in cross-functional settings
  • Passion for technology and continuous improvement

COMPENSATION 

Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $108,941 per year to $168,859 per year.

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
