SUMMARY: 

The Maintenance Technician IV Electrical is responsible for electrical needs of the facility and production equipment. To help reduce the need for outside electrical contractors. To follow and enforce the national electrical code

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (7 bullet maximum):

·       Support lines with electrical needs (i.e. electrical drops)

·       Mentor and train apprentice (unlicensed) electricians

·       Support line with down time calls

·       Responsible for plant electrical maintenance

·       Support office with electrical needs

·       Assist controls engineers with arc flash training and documentation

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: 

·       State Board of Electricity Class A Journeyman or Master Electrician license required

·       Understand, troubleshoot and problem solve issues of intermediate complexity in advanced electrical/mechanical systems. (PLC, Drives, Servo, HMI, CNC, etc.)

·       Use the National Electrical Code (NFPA 79) to enforce code that applies to electrical installations

·       Diagnose PLC and HMI programs (load, modify, create)

·       Understand the principles of circuit interruption, switch functions and trip curves of circuit breakers, components of a switchgear assembly and related preventive maintenance requirements.

·       Troubleshoot, inspect and clean components in motor controllers

·       Understand advanced and complex functions of production CNC machining equipment.

·       Advanced competency in root cause analysis evaluations

·       Multi-skilled technician satisfied by demonstrated technical expertise in advanced electrical maintenance functions.

·       Excellent communication, time management, organizational and prioritization skills

·       Ability to work in a team environment and self-direct activities

·       Ability to manage vital maintenance functions to maximize corporate assets

·       Excellent electrical troubleshooting, reasoning and analytical problem solving skills

·       Observe and understand equipment sequence of operation and configuration to isolate failure and perform root cause analysis

·       Utilize precision measuring equipment to perform root cause analysis on equipment.

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
