PURPOSE:
As a member of the Litigation & IP Team in the Legal Department, provide administrative support to the Team, including coordination of meetings with internal and external participants, implementation of internal processes (e.g., invoice processing, and expense), as well as case file setup, updating, and reporting.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage files for matters in litigation including initial set up, updates to files as information is received, and periodic reporting.
- Administer process for receipt of new legal matters through electronic and physical service, including providing internal notice to Team and setting up new files.
- Administer process to retain outside counsel following selection by Team including using template(s) to prepare engagement letters and providing outside counsel guidelines.
- Provide administrative support such as coordination of meetings, expense reporting, and travel scheduling.
- Administer invoice payment process.
- Distribute incoming mail.
- Perform related duties and special assignments as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Degree or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience
- Must have proficient writing and communication skills
- Establishes good interpersonal relationships with others
- Good organizational & coordination skills
- Moderate computer skills, including spreadsheet, presentation, word processing, email and associated software
- Ability to manage multiple and/or time dependent activities
- Flexibility, cooperation

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
