SUMMARY 
The IT Business Analyst is responsible for the planning, development, maintenance, and enhancement of the functional areas of application packages. They are assigned to teams within an assigned business unit and independently utilize various client/server platforms as well as, mentor others. Individuals collaborate with company customers, staff, IT and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options.
 
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 
  •  Responsible for medium to high level business analysis and process design in one or more functional areas (finance, accounting, sales, engineering, manufacturing, etc.) within the enterprise in the analysis and redesign of application package functions and processes. Assists less experienced business analysts with design and knowledge transfer
  • Responsible for communicating application package capabilities/possibilities within one or more functional areas with medium to high complexity of requirements. Assists less experienced business analysts with application package capabilities
  • Responsible for definition of application scope and objectives and devise/modify procedures to solve medium to high complexity business problems. Assists less experienced business analysts with problem resolution
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or Business Administration with an emphasis in a specific functional area or equivalent work experience and technical training
  •  Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant functional area, two years of experience with application package modules and one package implementation 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in the ability to express medium to high level technical concepts in business terms
 
SALARY INFORMATION:  
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. In addition to your pay, Andersen Corporation currently offers benefits such as comprehensive health benefits, 401k contribution, paid time off, 8 paid standard holidays, plus 2 floating holidays, a robust employee Wellbeing program, as well as profit sharing (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
