SUMMARY 

The HR Business Partner is both a strategic and hands-on role individual contributor role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to a designated client group within Andersen Division. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives to cultivate an innovative, high-performing, and inclusive culture as well as providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement across the organization to ensure standards are aligned and being executed for all our retail management.

 The role holder will provide strong partnership in talent acquisition, talent development activities, change management, organizational development, sales incentive compensation, performance guidance, policy interpretation, day to day leadership coaching, culture development and employee relations activities

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Analyze organizational effectiveness (organizational health and organizational performance) to determine root causes, identify interventions, identify, and assign internal and external resources with expertise to address the issues, oversee implementation and evaluate results.
  • Partner with leaders on talent management strategy, including developing robust succession planning/talent management, developing internal talent, and supporting the recruiting strategy to ensure we have the right people at the right time.
  • Partner with hiring managers and talent management team to strategize search approaches (internal and external) and in the recruiting process to include preparation of job descriptions, identifying key competencies, interviewing, and offer formulation.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and provide appropriate support in situations requiring investigations.
  • Provides performance management guidance to leaders (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Consult and counsel and proactively coach managers regarding compensation alignment and equity in preparing new hire salary recommendations, internal transfers, market adjustments, and promotional recommendations.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with broader HR groups to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Recommend, lead and/or participate in team, departmental or cross-functional projects to improve the partner experience and/or drive efficiency.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required.
  • Serve as a vital link between local operations, functional and corporate teams, fostering collaboration between local HR teams and corporate HR and Enterprise Services and across teams within the regional facilities being supported.
  • Support change management initiatives within the client group and broader HR function.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 

  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources or similar discipline preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s Level Preferred.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years' experience in an HR Business Partner/Generalist capacity.
  • PHR/SHRM-CP Certification preferred.
  • Strong HR Acumen: – Deep knowledge of HR processes and working knowledge of most HR disciplines.
  • Ability to build relationships and trust with excellent skills in coaching and mentoring.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to see hidden problems and look beyond the obvious for answers, uses data to make decisions.
  • Excellent conflict management and negotiation skills – can bring others together and reconcile differences.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills with the ability and passion to engage with others authentically, establish trust, build long-lasting relationships - influence at all levels.
  • Proficient in MS office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with HRIS

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
