ANDERSEN CORPORATION SUMMARY:
The Human Resource Project Management Intern will support the HR team in executing various projects aimed at harmonization, change management, improving employee engagement, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR project management while contributing to impactful company initiatives.
This intern will become a part of our HR team that serves the end-to-end supply chain, specifically manufacturing, logistics and support functions and will provide a great learning experience of the business.
This position can be in Bayport, MN, Cottage Grove, MN, or Goodyear, AZ.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination:
Assist in the planning and execution of HR projects (scoped by leadership).
Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones using project management tools.
Data Analysis:
Collect and analyze data related to project assignment.
Prepare presentations to share insights with the HR and stakeholder team(s).
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive documentation for projects, including meeting notes, action items, and project plans.
Create and update project status reports for stakeholders.
Communication and Change Management:
Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders.
Assist in building change management and communication plans, considering all stakeholders and working with appropriate partners.
Assist in drafting or reviewing communications regarding HR initiatives.
Research:
Conduct research on best practices in HR project management and employee engagement.
Explore new tools and technologies that can enhance HR processes.
Support Initiatives:
Help organize training sessions, workshops, as needed.
Qualifications
Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with project management software or programs is a plus.
