Position Summary:

Lead the sales function and business operations of a regional retail operation for Renewal by Andersen through the design and implementation of strategies to achieve aggressive business goals. Be the leader responsible for building our Detroit retail market for Renewal by Andersen, the market leader in the residential window and door space!


  • Build and maintain a high-performance culture in your branch with a foundation built on trust, mutual respect, and integrity.
  • Develop and lead execution of 3-5+ year strategies to launch and grow the branch and deliver on key financial, employee experience and homeowner experience results.
  • Develop and execute both quarterly and annual plans for the branch in support of business objectives and in alignment with the 5-year strategy.
  • Provide leadership in establishing a culture focused on safety and compliance. Help implement and maintain safety protocols and compliance initiatives. 
  • Build out and develop strong functional leadership team (Sales, Operations, Install, Warehouse) within your branch to ensure a succession plan for key roles up to and including the General Manager.
  • Work closely with Renewal support personnel and functional leaders in developing annual budgets and executing to meet those commitments.
  • Direct responsibility for the leadership of all branch functions (Sales, Operations, Installation, Service, Marketing, etc…) as well as indirect leadership of some other key functions that reside in the branch, such as non-traditional marketing teams.


  • College degree preferred or equivalent in a business discipline.
  • 5-8+ years or more of business management experience or multi-functional leadership experience (preferably in a retail, direct-to-consumer environment)
  • Prior sales and/or sales management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in managing a P&L
  • Strong Analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop front line leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a strong team culture.
  • Strategic thinking in setting challenging plans/goals/objectives.
  • Construction industry experience nice to have.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortability excelling in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
