Who we look for:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent engineering experience.
• Clear understanding and application of methodologies associated with project planning.
• Experience working with collaborative cross-functional teams.
• Effective communication through written, verbal, listening, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical abilities, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge and experience with quality systems, statistical process control, process capability, and lean manufacturing tools.
• Familiarity with 2D & 3D modeling, preferably in AutoCad and/or Inventor.
What you'll get to do:
• Utilize effective lean process design techniques to optimize the performance of our manufacturing system.
• Plan, organize, and lead the technical aspects of large-scale assignments.
• Create training tools, documents, and standard operating procedures for production processes.
• Identify causes of process variation using the scientific method.
• Recommend and drive corrective action through root cause identification and structured problem solving.
• Ensure built-in quality by using DMAIC tools such as process mapping, process capability, C&E Matrix, fishbone diagram, FMEA, MSA, DOE, and Control Plans.
• Accurately assess ergonomic conditions within the manufacturing environment and provide practical solutions to eliminate ergonomic risk.
• Exhibit persuasiveness to sell continuous improvement ideas to value stream management and delivery partners.
