POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide timely, proactive administrative support to assigned executive(s).

POSITION PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Handle highly sensitive and confidential information on a regular basis; explain policies when necessary.
  • Schedule, prepare environment, and serve as primary contact for daily and long-range meetings; create documents for meetings (e.g. agendas, handouts, etc.); complete, store & distribute meeting minutes or notes as required; follow through on action items as appropriate.  Work with other executives or administrative assistants for scheduling.  Travel to off-site meeting locations as needed.
  • File management (hardcopy and electronic) following legal retention requirements, as appropriate (e.g., AW Records Management process).
  • Prepare, proof and distribute correspondence; handle incoming mail, complete mailing projects.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and coordinate completion of expense reports.
  • Facilitate appropriate internal processes (e.g. invoice processing, P-cards, time reporting); review expenses against budget & take steps to correct issues as needed.
  • Compose, prepare and distribute reports, materials and documents (e.g. presentations, department communications, spreadsheets, charts, etc.)
  • Maintain calendars & schedule; manage email in-boxes.
  • Act as liaison to internal and external business partners, including high-level staff; regularly interact with executives in and outside of Andersen, including Board Members and Community Leaders.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

POSITION MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred
  • 6 years of experience with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Working experience in the legal sector
  • Must have good writing and communication skills
  • Conducts themselves with a high degree of poise & business etiquette
  • Strong organizational & coordination skills

POSITION NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High computer skills, including spreadsheet, presentation, work processing, email, schedule management and associated software
  • Flexibility, cooperation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple and/or time dependent activities

COMPENSATION: 

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn between $30.55 - $44.25/hour.

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
