  • Key contributor to one or more technical teams or projects. Individual will demonstrate competence by executing projects or portions of more difficult and complex assignments as well as directed creativity and initiative in suggesting assignment/project direction.
  • Develop and report recommendations for improvements to technical issues; develop prototypes and fixtures; carry out test/work requests; creates required technical documentation; performs safety assessment activities; carry out general maintenance of equipment and tools
  • Team member on larger scale projects with complete task responsibilities
  • Full responsibility for execution of intermediate scale expense/capital projects.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of the respective functional area/project
  • Presents technical information or proposals to team members and management
  • Work with engineers/technologists to develop and evaluate materials, parts, product or process while offering insights on their improvement.
  • Conduct testing related to materials, parts, product or process for improvements.
  • Perform root cause analysis with other technical employees, suppliers and outside experts. Coordinate laboratory, field or pre-production testing.
  • Seek out and investigate how new technologies can help meet customer requirements

  • 4-year Technical degree or equivalent combination of formalized technical education and experience
  • At least 3 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance required.
  • Candidates will demonstrate aptitude and understanding of the troubleshooting process on mechanical/electrical automated industrial equipment.
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs required and must be proficient with Control Logix, Compact Logix using RS Logix 5000, RS Logix 500, RSLinx, Panel Views, Factory Talk View platform including ME and SE.
  • Knowledgeable of SERVO drive, VFD’s drives pneumatic valve and cylinders.
  • Experience with reading mechanical and electrical schematic drawings with ability to use product documentation to troubleshoot and determine the root cause.
  • Strong aptitude in process improvement and problem-solving.
  • Strong math, science, mechanical and experimental skills

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate.  Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
