SUMMARY
This role manages several different accounts receivable departments which include customer cash, product returns and credits, and invoicing. This people leader role comprises a larger team of accounts receivables and payables leaders.
This leader is responsible for the daily management, coaching, and development of a team that contains both exempt and non-exempt employees. They are responsible for ensuring daily transactional operations are in control and operating as expected according to company policies, procedures, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Enjoy a flexible, hybrid work environment. This position will require to be onsite 3x/week in our Oak Park Heights, MN office.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coach, develop, support, and motivate a team of 4-8 people
- Ensure a strong system of internal controls exists
- Ensure transactions are in compliance with GAAP
- Ensure operations are in control by leveraging key performance indicators and/or adding or making changes where gaps are identified
- Provide strategic direction and analytics in support of key functional, cross-functional or enterprise digital transformation and strategic enablement efforts
- Leads and supports all key financial cycles for their area of responsibility including period end, year-end, internal and external audits, etc.·
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- Four-year degree in Accounting preferred
- 7-10 years experience in a Shared Services or other Finance/Accounting organization
- Minimum of 5 years experience leading both exempt and non-exempt employees
- Minimum of 5 years leading a high-volume transactional processing team
- Strong interpersonal skills
NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience leading or working in a customer-facing/customer-service organization
- Experience leading change management initiatives
- Experience working in a complex back-office environment with multiple ERP and ancillary support system
COMPENSATION
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $99,216 to $153,784 per year.
