PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide multi-skilled maintenance/electrical support focused on customer service, quality, cost and productivity in a TPM and CI environment
- Inspect, disassemble, and reassemble gears, gear units, and gearboxes; check for lubrication issues and bearing failures.
- Understand and troubleshoot various mechanical components, including compressors, motors, pumps, and bearings.
- Perform shaft alignment using different methods and tools; handle gaskets, packing, and mechanical seals.
- Operate and maintain CNC machining equipment, manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders.
- Use hand and power tools to replace components, recalibrate machinery, and resolve equipment issues; read pneumatic system diagrams and measure vibration in equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- Understand the hazards of and working on electrical components
- Understand, troubleshoot and problem solve issues of basic complexity in advanced electrical/mechanical systems (PLC, Drives, Servo, HMI, CNC, etc.)
- Test and perform preventative maintenance
- Understand basic electrical circuits and safely requirements
- Understand basic function of PLC, drives and controls
NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
- Understand construction and ratings of cables and conductors, factors that determine the size and types of conductors, and the procedures for making proper connections - Ability to select connectors and splice and install conductors
- Proficient at cutting, bending and installing pipe
- Understand, maintain, and troubleshoot AC and DC motors and drives
- Use electrical test equipment to measure current voltage and resistance
- Understand trouble shooting process for basic electrical equipment and electrical systems
- Basic troubleshoot PLC, drives, HMI
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY
- Some heavy lifting required to replace motors, pumps, extruder screws, etc., at low frequency. Equipment is provided to move / manipulate heavy components
- Occasionally lift /carry objects up to 100 pounds
- Occasionally squat, crawl, reach above shoulders, kneel and balance
- Requires repetitive action such as simple staring, grasping, firm grasping, and fine manipulating. (includes right and left hands)
- Outside work required
- Working with various chemicals
- High work from, ladders and platforms
- Working in confined space conditions
- Wearing the proper PPE
- Handling hazardous waste wearing the appropriate PPE
- Working near energized electric circuits
- Working near/on hot equipment/materials

COMPENSATION:
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.
Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $31.45 - $39.32 inclusive of a 8%, 2nd shift differential equating to $33.96 - $42.46 hourly.
