Andersen Corp is looking for an IT Business Analyst to support our BaanERP, BaanIV and InforLN applications.  The main responsibility will be to handle customer application issues for customers that are using our BaanERP, BaanIV and InforLN applications.  Including responsibility for participating in the planning, development, maintenance, and enhancement of the functional areas of application packages. 

As well as support responsibilities, individuals also assist in collaborating with company customers, staff, IT and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options.  They assist in assessing business objectives and design business processes for low to medium level objectives in such a way that they may be effectively modeled, configured and measured within the package application environment.  Individuals assist in communicating application package capabilities and possibilities to designated functional areas, while seeking ways to collaborate with IT members to facilitate transition to and support of the application package


ResponsibilitiesThe main responsibility will be to respond to and resolve service desk tickets logged by internal customers.

  • Assist with low to medium level business analysis and process design in one or more functional areas (finance, accounting, sales, engineering, manufacturing, etc.) within the enterprise in the analysis, and redesign of application package functions and processes
  • Assist in specifying and validating reporting universes.  Assist in specifying, developing, and validating low to medium complexity business reports
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute appropriate unit (functional), integration and volume tests to ensure successful implementation and support efforts. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business Administration with an emphasis in a specific functional area or equivalent work experience and technical training
  • 2-3 years of experience in BAAN or InforLN minimum
  • Proficient Business understanding in one functional area, as well as an understanding of the organization’s industry
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in the ability to express low to medium level technical concepts in business terms
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks

During 2022, each eligible Andersen employee will receive $1,000 for each full fiscal quarter they are actively employed and fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
