Andersen Windows and Doors is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst on our Network Planning and Design Team. This position is responsible for supporting our Transportation and Logistics teams by planning inbound and outbound deliveries, planning throughput for our distribution centers, working with our fleet partners on major metrics and working to improve current state processes and routes while utilizing our transportation suite of systems.

In this role, the Analyst will become an expert in the Andersen transportation network as well as understand how Andersen systems are integrated. This will allow the Analyst to solve daily issues and help find ways to improve processes, identify system enhancements, and improve data flow.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Analyze, develop recommendations, and lead implementation of moderate risk level continuous improvements to business tools and processes

• Gain “Super User” knowledge of logistics software transportation planning applications.

• Work closely with enterprise fleet supervisors to understand fleet capacity, transportation compliance, and customer needs

• Analyze optimized load plans to identify continuous improvements of logistics software strategy and standard processes

• Analyze KPI’s to improve service and reduce costs

• Responsible for complex and/or escalated issues

• Assigned to or supports special project work

• Coach others on understanding, analyzing, and interpreting data and information

• Develops and delivers business plans or models to the business unit to support the business strategy

• Ability to work independently and thrive in non-hierarchical organization.

• Communicate project status to management including status reports and formal updates

• Requires ability to define intermediate risk or intermediate level problems, collect data, analyze data, offer solutions, and implement to achieve the desired results

• Facilitate intermediate teams and meetings having explicit objectives and scope

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4-year degree in engineering, business, or technology with 3-6 years’ experience preferred

• Master knowledge of relevant supply chain technologies such as TMS, Manufacturing Executions Systems, ERP, Warehouse Management systems

• Demonstrates competency to coach others in systems, data mining and data reporting

• Builds strong working relationships with internal and/or external customers

• Identifies opportunities towards improving the overall customer experience

• Is self-sufficient and motivated to take-action and grow and develop

• Provides peer-to-peer coaching and developmental feedback to others

• Is quick to recognize situations where change is needed and takes steps to implement change

• Independently composes written materials and proposals that conveys information clearly and concisely

• Achieves the desired outcome even when faced with obstacles or delays

• Learns negotiation and conflict management techniques between two or more parties in a manner that provides a win-win solution for all

During 2022, each eligible Andersen employee will receive $1,000 for each full fiscal quarter they are actively employed and fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
