Description & Requirements

This Supply Chain analyst role will focus on end-to-end Supply Chain improvements within our current Logistics network. In addition, this person will be responsible for supporting our larger enterprise projects and managing an ERP IT continuous improvement list.

Location: Oak Park Heights, MN Corporate Headquarters

Schedule: Hybrid  2 days in the office/3 days remote


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for problems across a wide range of supply chain systems and processes.

• Develop and drive improvements to key supply chain performance metrics (service, cost, etc.).

• Maintain relationships with internal and external business partners across the supply chain: order entry, manufacturing, suppliers, transportation, warehousing, IT, finance, other supply chain teams, etc.

• Lead kaizen events, cross functional value stream/process mapping, and larger enterprise supply chain initiatives.

• Role may include ERP setup, support for PLM activities & ERP data integrity, and partnering with our IT team to design and deliver improvements to our ERP system.

• Participate in supply chain projects within the value stream with consideration to the entire supply chain (plan, source, make, deliver)

• Provides a high degree of planning analysis to support decision making

• Collaborate with internal and external partners including suppliers, supervisors and team leads, logistics/warehouse groups and material planners

• Works independently with general supervision

• Role may require occasional travel to support enterprise / network projects.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, equivalent experience. Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Information Systems is preferred.

• 3-5 years Supply Chain or Logistics experience

• Adaptable to changing business conditions

• Knowledge and experience with ERP systems, data mining and data reporting

• Proficient in utilizing lean tools and methodology for problem solving and continuous improvement, including Pull, 5Y, PDCA, A3 thinking, waste elimination

• Engages with other in a way that can be developed into an ongoing working relationship

• Seeks to understand customer needs in detail and how to satisfy them

• Willingly accepts assignments that will expand his/her capabilities

• Seeks opportunities to learn from others who have more experience and tenure in the organization

During 2022, each eligible Andersen employee will receive $1,000 for each full fiscal quarter they are actively employed and fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
