PURPOSE:  

Andersen Corporation is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst I to support the Menomonie Manufacturing site. This role will provide the opportunity to learn level scheduling by start date, finished goods coordination, and be the operations liaison for the scheduling team.

This position requires the ability to work autonomously, solve problems across organizational boundaries, and work with ambiguity. As the needs of the business evolves, this position will be expected to drive continuous improvement to the business process.

During training, this role would be fully in-office. Upon completion of training (several months), this role would shift to be flexible to work off site for portions of the work week.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Finished goods tracking and reconciliation
  • Daily collaboration with Operations
  • Coordinate information and material flow within the operation
  • Creative problem solving
  • Participate in supply chain projects within the value stream (plan, source, make, deliver)   
  • Back up responsibilities within production scheduling   

 

Qualifications

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-year degree with 2 years’ manufacturing experience preferred. In lieu of a degree, a candidate must have 5+ years in a manufacturing environment and be able to demonstrate a high tolerance for ambiguity.
  • Working knowledge of relevant supply chain technologies such as ERP, Manufacturing Executions Systems, Warehouse Management systems, Microsoft Office.
  • Familiar with utilizing lean tools and methodology for problem solving and continuous improvement, such as Pull, 5Y, PDCA, A3 thinking, waste elimination
  • Supports organizational change (e.g., asks questions, abandons past ways of doing things, etc.)
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills
