Andersen Corporation is looking for a Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst at our Goodyear, AZ location to support site ramp up and continuous improvement sourcing activities, as well as product development.  This role will be the central sourcing project lead for this location working in collaboration with other functional areas including strategic sourcing/suppliers, quality, supply chain, operations, RD&I, and finance.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Oversee all deliverables for assigned projects from inception to launch, holding internal functions and suppliers accountable for achieving key milestones.
  • Drive strategic sourcing initiatives utilizing supplier relationship management, supplier engagement and communication.
  • Partner with sourcing commodity teams regarding commodity strategies, supplier selection, and supplier readiness for single/sole source opportunities.
  • Own supplier capacity assessments and communication for product ramp up schedules, in conjunction with the supplier development team.
  • Support supply chain optimization initiatives to improve material flow, capture value or reduce waste in the supply chain.
  • Lead process redesign and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools; data gathering and manipulation.
  • Support other Andersen sister sites as needed.
  • Drives material cost productivity related projects as defined by On-going Product Development, Sourcing, and Operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Operations, Business, Engineering, or related degree is required.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in sourcing, supply chain, or operations.
  • Project management experience with the ability to create project plans, manage schedules, adapt resources, and achieve project deliverables.
  • Very organized and able to independently pursue concurrent resolution of multiple issues.
  • Demonstrated success collaboratively leading and motivating others.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
