POSITION PURPOSE


Identify areas for sales tools, process and data integrity improvements through interaction with our end users. Provide timely training and documentation to our end users on our sales tools and processes.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Identify gaps in automation and/or sales tools and participate in process improvement activities. Work as a translator between the business teams working within a system and the technical teams working to administer them to solve problems while making sure enhancement adheres to our overall sales processes & strategies. Drive process efficiency and data integrity using data insights and technology.
  • Serve as an escalation point for support issues from the sales team. Act as system administrator or have sales ownership of sales tools. Demonstrate expertise in all sales tools currently deployed. Participate in UAT sessions for sales tool enhancements. Maintain sales tool enhancement trackers to provide timely updates to stakeholders and leadership. 
  • Delivers proactive training to all new and established users of sales tools & processes to ensure they are used in the most efficient and effective manner. Effectively updates end users on new enhancements to systems or processes. Monitors adoption of sales tools & processes and makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Create, update and maintain high quality sales documentation, including tools and processes. Routinely maintain sales ops repositories, internal folder systems, etc. Provide direction and assistance to others in the creation of documentation.
  • Able to represent sales operations’ interests in cross-functional projects. Consistently delivers project obligations on time and in accordance with defined requirements.
  • Be a subject matter expert within the Sales Operations team.


DIRECTION OF OTHERS
  • May regularly coach contractors from vendor organizations.
  • May informally mentor newer or less experienced team members.
  • May provide work direction to project team members when leading projects. 



QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 



  • 2-year associates degree in engineering, business, or technology with of 2 years’ experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of relevant supply chain technologies such as ERP, Manufacturing Executions Systems, Warehouse Management systems
  • Knowledge and experience with ERP systems, data mining and data reporting
  • Proficient in utilizing lean tools and methodology for problem solving and continuous improvement, including Pull, 5Y, PDCA, A3 thinking, waste elimination
