Andersen Windows & Doors is hiring a Receiving Coordinator. The Receiving Coordinator is an entry level receiving position.  The position provides direct support for processing day-to-day internal and customer invoices, resolving basic processing issues and discrepancies, and is primarily responsible for processing the shipping documents associated with our shipments. The work of a Receiving Coordinator is quite demanding as they need to handle the smallest of details. The Receiving Coordinator shall participate in other functions within the receiving department as required.


  • Process receiving invoices and inventory transactions including return goods processing
  • Communicate details and issues to necessary parties as related to trailer shipment details, raw material FIFO and other supply constraints 
  • Verify, research, and investigate count reconciliations and discrepancies as related to analysis of data to ensure accuracy and timeliness of inventory counts.
  • Dock Walk - open all dock doors and trailers (both in dock and yard) - check for contents or empty 
  • Communicate/coordinate dumpster clean up
  • Supports management and other associates in all critical financial cycles including but no limited to period closing, quarterly reporting, year end closing, internal audits, physical inventories, etc.
  • Identify, recommend, and assist in the development, documentation, communication, and adherence to processes and improvements
  • Understand customers/delivery partners special needs and requests
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and possess strong interpersonal skills both written and verbal
  • Flexibility to work off-shifts, including nights and/or weekends
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Strong customer service skills
