Andersen Corporation is seeking a Quality Analyst I to join our team in Dubuque, IA.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Is responsible for Initial Quality data analysis. 
  • Create and report out on quality metric data summaries daily, weekly, and on a period basis. 
  • Able to manage multiple quality databases. 
  • Identifies project opportunities and new trends in data. 
  • Provide project updates and reflections on project performance towards goals. 
  • Investigate initial quality cases and help determine if data coding and resolution is correct.  
  • Able to effectively communicate with manufacturing, customer service, sales, field service, and supply chain.  
  • Is creative and shows initiative in suggesting new directions for projects. 
  • Performs difficult tasks on time and on budget. 
  • Analyzes report conclusions and makes recommendations on technical decisions. 
  • Interacts in a productive manner with members of project teams and functional groups. 
  • Provides independent contributions to technical progress of the team. 
  • Uses knowledge from technical discipline to solve routine technical problems with minimal technical conflicts. 
  • Contributes to discussions and decisions about overall project objectives with managers. 
  • Delivers informal presentations to small groups of customers and associates. 
  • Responsible for data integrity.  

Qualifications / Technical Skills:

  • 4 year degree in Engineering or Technology
  • Strong aptitude in process improvement and problem solving
  • Basic knowledge of lean, manufacturing, quality systems and/or information technologies
  • 0-3 years engineering or technical experience required
  • Demonstrates understanding of relevant methodologies and tools
  • Strong computer skills and experience using Microsoft software, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience using PowerBI would be favorable

Profit Sharing:

During 2022, each eligible Andersen employee will receive $1,000 for each full fiscal quarter they are actively employed and fully vaccinated against COVID-19. An eligible employee hired during a quarter will receive a prorated payment based on the number of days employed during the quarter. Those eligible include fully-vaccinated regular full-time and part-time employees (at least 20 hours per week) who are not subject to a collective bargaining agreement. These and other terms and conditions of Andersen’s 2022 Profit Sharing Plan, including the definition of full vaccination against COVID-19, are subject to change or termination without notice.
