We are currently recruiting Manufacturing Associates to join our growing team at our Garland Assembly Plant.  No experience is necessary - Andersen will train new employees on our manufacturing best practices.

Pay rate: $16-$17.16/hr + 6% shift differential on 2nd shift and 9% on 3rd shift
We offer full time and temporary opportunities dependent upon business needs and experience for a variety of shifts: 2nd shift 3 PM – 11 PM, 3rd shift 11 PM - 7 AM.

Responsibilities

    • Responsible for fabrication, assembly and managing the flow of material throughout the plant. Duties include but are not limited to:
    • Following all required safety practices and company standards
    • Operating manufacturing equipment and hand tools
    • Producing high quality work that conforms to standards
    • Able to work in a team environment
    • Participating in on-the job training initiatives and seeking out growth opportunities
    • Maintaining good attendance and punctuality
    • Supporting a respectful workplace

Qualifications

    • High school diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
    • Previous experience in a manufacturing operation is a plus
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule including some overtime and weekends
    • Desire to learn new skills and cross-train in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for duration of shift
    • Possess problem-solving, communication, teamwork, leadership and basic computer skills
    • Ability to read and understand reports

During 2022, each eligible Andersen employee will receive $1,000 for each full fiscal quarter they are actively employed and fully vaccinated against COVID-19. An eligible employee hired during a quarter will receive a prorated payment based on the number of days employed during the quarter. Those eligible include fully-vaccinated regular full-time and part-time employees (at least 20 hours per week) who are not subject to a collective bargaining agreement. These and other terms and conditions of Andersen’s 2022 Profit Sharing Plan, including the definition of full vaccination against COVID-19, are subject to change or termination without notice.
