Description & Requirements

- Select and install proper tooling
- Insure accurate set-up
- Make adjustments to machine and tooling, as required
- Troubleshoot material and machine problems
- Select, inspect and machine material
- Assure quality standards understood and they are met
- Ability to constructively work with others
- Perform Safety audits
- Follow standard work, control plans, and written work instructions
- Participate in continuous improvement process and other lean initiatives
- Coach and train new associates
- Compile daily reports
- Assure conformance with the 5S program
- Assure compliance with all related safety policies and procedures
- Understand and participate in achieving departmental and company goals
- Serve as a member of the manufacturing team, providing assistance as needed
-Assist with hazardous waste management (Koch Dip equipment)

Qualifications - External

- High School Graduate/GED or prior Eagle Window and Door employment
- Basic reading, writing, and shop math skills
- Demonstrated ability to use calipers, tape measures and read prints
- Demonstrated product and machinery knowledge and proficiency acquired through a minimum of six months experience
- Understanding of related safety policies and procedures
- Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Physical ability to perform key job duties
- Ability to lift and maneuver product. (Some position may require lifting up to 50 lbs.)
- Ability to lift and maneuver bulky product
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, lift product throughout the assembly process
