Will partner with business leaders to assess needs, recommend solutions, and determine course of action. 

To achieve goals, this person must have solid facilitation, instructional design and program design skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Consult with business leaders to identify employee capability requirements that support and enable successful business performance for the Andersen sales organization.
  • Identify and evaluate environmental and personal factors that underlie employee performance and identify problem root causes.
  • Lead new hire sales onboarding program; First day through first year and continuous development
  • Support organizational development best practices and engage with HR and business leaders to build competency
  • Support change management initiatives, sustainment through partnership and coaching of leaders
  • Develop competency models aligned to performance requirements of key roles and develop/ deploy tools and processes for evaluating individual and group competency gaps
  • Assess learning and development needs through manager consultations, employee input and feedback, session or event feedback, employee survey data. Make recommendations to support long-term organization growth strategies.
  • Design, develop and facilitate solutions (course curricula, programs, events) to support strategic goals for sales organization
  • Develop training and other learning activities consistent with instructional design standards, current learning science, adult learning theory, and sales thought leadership
  • Lead the development of learning impact measurement strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions
  • Act as sounding board, resource and coach for employees and leaders outside of learning events.
  • Remains current on learning industry best practices, thought leadership related to L&D and OD fields.

During 2022, each eligible Andersen employee will receive $1,000 for each full fiscal quarter they are actively employed and fully vaccinated against COVID-19. An eligible employee hired during a quarter will receive a prorated payment based on the number of days employed during the quarter. Those eligible include fully-vaccinated regular full-time and part-time employees (at least 20 hours per week) who are not subject to a collective bargaining agreement. These and other terms and conditions of Andersen’s 2022 Profit Sharing Plan, including the definition of full vaccination against COVID-19, are subject to change or termination without notice.


Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of training and development experience required. 
  • In-depth knowledge of adult learning theory and how to apply it to the development of courses, programs for in-classroom and virtual training. In-depth knowledge of organization development concepts and change management.
  • Advanced facilitation skills; able to facilitate meetings, processes, classroom experiences, virtual meetings and learning experiences.
  • Strong consultative skills. Ability to consult with business leadership to assess needs and solve for short-and long-term learning and performance issues using a variety of models and methods. Incorporate change management and strategies for sustainment of change.
  • Ability to gather, assess, and act on learner and stakeholder feedback. Able to lead continuous improvement processes for courses, programs and curricula as business needs evolve.
  • Managing projects that go beyond the learning materials - culture work, root cause analysis, people leadership.
  • Prior experience with development of onboarding programs is preferred
