SUMMARY  

Responsible for leading the effort to match supply with demand when manufacturing across multiple manufacturing sites. Executes to and continuously improves tools and processes required to support capacity planning in accordance with business strategies. Works with individual contributors in a variety of departments to continuously improve customer delivery and total cost metrics.


POSITION PURPOSE:

Responsible for the development of Lean Management skills of the Leaders of the organization; and through that Leader, the whole organization.

Embeds with a Strategy Team (their assigned Leader’s team) to partner in the development and deployment of that team’s management system, team transformation and process transformation to deliver on the team’s strategic goals.

Responsible for the development of other Lean subject-matter experts, and Lean Accelerator participants.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partners with Leader of Strategy Team to develop and implement Strategies to achieve and sustain their business goals through systematic practices.

Leads strategic planning and deployment, while implementing systematic-practices to sustain strategic objectives.

Provide leadership, subject-matter expertise and coaching to Build Strategy Team’s skills in:

-Transforming processes and value-streams to be more Just-In-Time with better Built-in Quality.

-Creating highly effective teams who deliver on their strategic goals day after day.

-Deploying, using and improving their management system in alignment with the Andersen Management System.

Participates in, facilitates and leads kaizen events, improvement projects and strategic projects as needed to deliver on other responsibilities.

Facilitates and leads Lean Management skills development as needed to deliver on other responsibilities.

Partners with the Enterprise’s Lean Leaders Network in developing and adopting best practices


DIRECTION OF OTHERS: 
Manages the activities of assigned designated Lean Mgmt subject matter experts, and Lean Accelerator participants

Provides coaching and feedback to Leaders, and teams through their Leaders, with respect to their Lean Management practices.

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  4-year degree or equivalent; an emphasis in process design or developing people is preferred.

  •  (I = 3 – 5, II = 4 – 8, III = 5 – 10) years of overall experience in a company/organization which practices lean management and/or supervisory or leadership experience

    Minimum of (I = 1, II = 3, III = 5) years of experience participating in Lean transformation; which must include leading lean transformation (III = must include deployments in multiple locations).

  •   Demonstrated ability to facilitate groups

  • Computer skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).  Experience with Microsoft Teams and teleconferencing desirable

During 2022, each eligible Andersen employee will receive $1,000 for each full fiscal quarter they are actively employed and fully vaccinated against COVID-19. An eligible employee hired during a quarter will receive a prorated payment based on the number of days employed during the quarter. Those eligible include fully-vaccinated regular full-time and part-time employees (at least 20 hours per week) who are not subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
